TV Freak

A few years ago, I didn't have cable. We never watched tv. Only movies. But since I moved back to mom and dad's house, I not only have cable - I have a DVR. Stupid DVR.

Last night I thought I would watch one of my pre-recorded shows before I went to bed. But when I checked my listings, my recordings weren't there! Frantically, I searched for the menu that would show my future recordings schedule. Agh! (that's a dramatic gasp) - They were GONE! Nothing, nada - no scheduled recordings! Argh! So I spent the next 20 minutes trying to remember my shows to record and reprogramming my DVR. Yikes! I'm hooked... Stupid DVR!

Life, The Big Bang Theory, The Adventures of Old Christine, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice. Wholly cow! Stuuuuupid DVR!

But then I thought about all the time I save NOT watching commercials. And how I don't have to plan my life around being home on Thursday nights - (I know people do that!) Whoohoo! Amazing DVR!

Sometimes, I still feel like writing...

Sometimes, I still feel like writing... about the day, about a laugh, about a picture, about food (haha) about life. So here begins my new blog. My after-the-C-word blog. Yay! Cheers to that!
