I went to a Texas Hold'em party tonight and ended up sitting next to my friend's elderly neighbor, Katie. It seemed weird to me that her name was Katie. Doesn't that sound like a little girl name to you? She seemed so confused as she played, and kept on having to have the cards moved closer to her so that she could see what was on the board. Finally she said "This is such a dumb game." That was the funniest thing ever!I didn't win. Out of about 44 people, I think I came in 12th. Better than I thought I would have - not good enough to come home with any $$$. But it was fun to mingle and I laughed a lot. That was worth it in itself.
